Construction Spending on the Increase
The Associated General Contractors of Americal (A.G.C.) reports a significant increase in construction spending during the month of May.
Notably, the increase was across all sectors (residential, commercial and public) and was the highest monthly level since 2008. Perhaps this is a sign the construction industry has finally rounded the corner on its way to pre-recession levels.
