Cretelox Makes it Better
Polymer modified repair mortars are valued for their strength and durability. State DOT’s specify products like ChemSpeed™ 65 and ChemPatch™ VO1 because of their exceptional performance in harsh environmental conditions. And one of the reasons they perform so well is
because ChemMasters adds latex polymer to the formulation.
But what if a customer wants the added performance of polymer modification in a repair mortar or stucco that isn't formulated to include one? Just add Cretelox™.
Cretelox is ChemMasters high performance acrylic polymer that can be added to any site mixed or prepackaged cement based repair mortars. Simply replace 25% to 100% of the water requirement with Cretelox and mix as usual. The result will be a repair mortar with:
- Improved compressive, tensile and flexural strengths
- Increased abrasion and impact resistance
- Improved chemical resistance
- Reduced shrinkage cracking
- Improved freeze/thaw resistance
- Reduced chloride ion penetration to protect underlying rebar
Cretelox is also a high performance bonding agent that helps any repair mortar achieve a better chemical bond to the substrate. Cretelox makes repairs stronger, and last longer.
Unlike some competitive products, Cretelox is not re-emulsifiable. It doesn’t dissolve every time it comes in contact with water. Who would want a concrete repair or cementitious coating that weakens every time it rains? Not ChemMasters, and probably not you either!
Non-Reemulsifiable Acrylic Latex Bonding Agent for Cementitious Mortars
Cretelox is a non-reemulsifiable, acrylic latex bonding agent and admixture.
