Make Yourself A Hero – Sell EZ Strip Cure
When interior floors for warehouses, retail operations or manufacturing facilities are poured, they will often receive subsequent coatings or treatments. This presents a real challenge to the architect and contractor who need to properly cure the concrete in order to achieve its
full design strength and durability. But using a curing compound will interfere with adhesion of an epoxy or urethane floor coating, or absorption of a penetrating waterproofer or floor hardener.
Over the years “dissipating resin” cures have become popular for these applications. Dissipating resins are intended to allow full hydration (cure) of the concrete, and then wear away, leaving the concrete ready to accept a coating or treatment.
In truth, dissipating resin cures do a wonderful job of curing concrete. But in order for them to dissipate, three things are required:
- Oxygen
- Abrasion
- UV Exposure
Of course, there’s always plenty of oxygen. Foot traffic and equipment provide adequate abrasion. But the quantity of UV exposure on these indoor applications is insufficient. That means the dissipating resin never dissipates, and someone is going to be responsible for a very
expensive removal bill.
Make yourself a hero for these indoor applications, and recommend EZ Strip Cure. As the name implies, EZ Strip Cure is easily removed with household cleaners like Mr. Clean, and Spic N Span or dilute ammonia and water. Alternatively, a 1,500 psi pressure wash will do the job.
Quick, easy and inexpensive! Tell the story and seal the deal!
